Salon Le Volume
- Frisco, Texas
- Extensions
- Editorial
Unsolicited concept redesign. Not client work, and not the business’s official site.
Salon Le Volume is a luxury hair and extension studio. This concept is an editorial page: the practice, the artists, the brands, and a plain starting rate, set in a serif rather than a salon template.

Problem
A luxury hair and extension studio needs the work, the people, and the starting price to read as one atelier. A salon template of stock sections does not say who does the work, which brands are in the studio, or what it costs to begin.
What I built
An editorial, magazine-style serif design. A section titled “Four practices. One atelier.” Artists listed by level, the product brands, plain starting rates, and JSON-LD.
Approach
The type and the grid do the positioning: a serif headline, a large photograph, and a cream page, closer to a magazine than to a booking template. “Four practices. One atelier.” is the structure of the offer. Artists are grouped by level instead of a flat staff grid. Product brands are named. Starting rates are written as prices. JSON-LD is included.
Details
Editorial serif
A magazine-style page, set in a serif, with the photograph carrying as much of the page as the type.
Four practices. One atelier.
The offer is organized under that line, so the practices read as one studio.
Artists by level
Artists are listed by level rather than as one undifferentiated roster.
Product brands
The brands used in the studio are named on the page.
Plain starting rates
Starting rates are written as prices.
JSON-LD
Structured data for the studio.
