Earnest B’s BBQ & Catering
- Frisco, Texas
- Pit board
- Catering
Unsolicited concept redesign. Not client work, and not the business’s official site.
Earnest B’s BBQ & Catering is a Texas-style smokehouse with roots in Amory, Mississippi. This concept puts the food first, then gives a group a way to build an order and keeps catering separate from the everyday menu.

Problem
A smokehouse site has to show the meat, carry a menu, and give a group of 6–50 people a way to order. Catering is a different job from pickup. A generic restaurant template does not make those paths distinct.
What I built
A full-bleed photo hero, a pit board menu, a group-pack builder for 6–50 people, a catering board, the origin story, pickup and delivery calls to action, a custom quote form, and JSON-LD.
Approach
The first screen is a full-bleed photograph of the food, with the name and the actions beside it. The menu is a pit board. Group orders use a pack builder limited to 6–50 people, so the range is explicit. Catering has its own board, separate from that menu. The origin story — Amory, Mississippi, and a Texas-style smokehouse — is on the page. Pickup and delivery are the calls to action. A custom quote form covers what the builder does not. JSON-LD describes the business in structured data.
Details
Full-bleed photo hero
The food is the first thing on the page.
Pit board menu
The menu is a board, not a generic list buried under the hero.
Group packs, 6–50
The builder is scoped to that range so a family order and a large order share one control with a real limit.
Catering board
Catering is its own board, separate from the pit menu.
Origin story
Amory, Mississippi roots, and a Texas-style smokehouse, written on the page.
Pickup, delivery, and a quote
Pickup and delivery are the calls to action. A custom quote form sits alongside them. JSON-LD is included.
